Glass Lewis has launched a data feed service allowing investors to access ESG data that the proxy advisory firm uses in its proxy reports.

The data will be made available prior to public company annual shareholder meetings “in order to ensure investors timely access to both summaries of public company ESG performance and insight into specific data points,” the firm said in an announcement.

The launch of the ESG Data Feed follows the launch of the so-called Glass Lewis ESG Profile, which provides a “snapshot view” of the firm’s proxy paper research reports related to ESG issues.

“Although we have been collecting information concerning companies’ ESG risks and opportunities since our inception as an organization, the ESG Profile and ESG Data Feed solution allow clients a much more customizable and accessible way to use this information,” said Courteney Keatinge, Senior Director, ESG Research at Glass Lewis.
